Description

Hertrove is a curated luxury destination offering exclusive evening wear, handbags, and jewelry from world-renowned designers.

The platform combines high-end fashion with a seamless digital experience, enabling users to discover, browse, and purchase unique pieces that are not available in mainstream retail.

Our role was to extend Hertrove beyond web by building a fully integrated mobile application on top of a Shopify-powered ecosystem — ensuring a consistent experience across platforms while maintaining a single operational backend.

The Idea

Hertrove aimed to elevate its luxury shopping experience by bringing it to mobile — without compromising on the quality, elegance, and operational simplicity of its existing Shopify system.

The goal was clear:
Deliver a premium mobile experience while keeping all operations centralized.

  • Shopify is inherently designed for web, not mobile-native applications

  • Need for a single source of truth (Shopify dashboard) for both platforms

  • Lack of mobile-compatible functionality for many Shopify plugins

  • Ensuring real-time synchronization between web and mobile

  • Maintaining a luxury-grade UX across devices

We engineered a custom mobile architecture integrated with Shopify, enabling:

  • A fully functional mobile app powered by Shopify backend

  • Real-time synchronization of products, orders, and content

  • Custom-built mobile-compatible alternatives for Shopify plugins
